YAKI (Okonomiyaki ＋Burger)

In the HARAJUKU area, surrounded by many little clothing shops, there is an Okonomiyaki ＋ Burger fast food shop called "YAKI".

This shop is originally from LONDON. The concept for this shop was inspired by the Japanese food "Okonomiyaki"  (a japanese-style "pancake" made of veggies, and meat and other toppings). 

Yaki has added a western twist to the japanese original, making it into a smaller handheld "burger." These okonomiyaki burgers are available for dine-in and takeout.

The was taste good, price was reasonable, and the shop was clean and comfortable. I also saw some vegetarian burgers on the menu that I want to try next time.

 If there were a  Yaki shop in my neighborhood,I'd definitely be a regular customer.

"ARMS" PARK SIDE BURGER SHOP

On a  quiet residential street near yoyogi park, opposite the bustle of harajuku is a hamburger shop called Arms. They offer the basic hamburger fare with choice toppings like avocado and chili. Patties and buns are housemade. Veggie burgers are also available.

The shop sits about fifteen guests and is  conveniently located within walking distance of yoyogi park. When there's a wait for a table, order takeout and enjoy a picnic in the park.
